JOURNEY BRIEF |
|
Day 1 :
On arrival at Hamilton Island, you will be greeted at
the airport and transferred the Beach Club
for an overnight stay. Afternoon and evening free.
Day 2 :
Board the Reef Odyssey for a 3 night cruise among the Whitsunday Islands and
to explore the Great Barrier Reef.
Day 3 & 4 : Fill your days; snorkeling
in the crystal clear water; strolling along
white sand beaches; take a reef walk with a
marine biologist guide and from the glass bottom
boats see more of the reef without even getting
wet.

Day 5 :
Returning to Hamilton Island, transfer to the Beach Club for
your 2 night stay.
Day 6 :
At leisure to enjoy the many activities, restaurants and pools
of Hamilton Island – relax in the luxury of the Beach Club or
explore more of the Island.
Day 7 :
A complimentary transfer to the airport will be arranged for
you.

Day 1 - Whitsunday Islands, Hamilton Island Beach Club, 1 night
Arrive on Hamilton Island via scheduled flight and transfer to your holiday accomodation.
Hamilton is in the heart of the Whitsunday's and lies just on the edge of the Great Barrier Reef.
Over 80 per cent of Hamilton Island has been carefully preserved in its natural state so that
visitors can continue to enjoy the pristine beauty of the island's fabulous beaches, unspoilt
nature trails and secluded hideaways.
Your overnight accomodation will be at the exclusive five star Hamilton Beach Club. A host
is on hand to guarantee personal service and will co-ordinate restaurant bookings, room service,
laundry requirements and your transfer to the Hamilton Dock for the Reef Odyssey Cruise.
Day 2 - Whitsunday Islands, Reef Odyssey Cruise, 3 nights
Depart from Hamilton Island in the early afternoon aboard the Reef Odyssey.
Your deluxe stateroom has a queen size bed (two twins are also available), large
windows, wardrobe and dressing table, air conditioning and en suite facilities.
Afternoon cruise to Whitehaven Beach, where the silica sands are some of the whitest you will ever see.
Enjoy a swim or beachcombing before sailing to a sheltered cove for dinner and overnight. Meet your
cruise mates over a drink before an a la carte dinner featuring fresh Barrier Reef seafood and other
local produce.
Day 3 - Whitsunday Islands, Reef Odyssey
Explore the coral chasms of Hook and Hardy Reefs and overnight at Hardy Reef.
Guests have the opportunity to participate in guided island walks,
snorkeling tours
and reef walks. The Dive Instructor is able to assist divers of all qualification
and experience levels. There is lots of time for
snorkeling, scuba diving, coral
viewing or just relaxing.
Day4- Whitsunday Islands, Reef Odyssey
Visit Blue Pearl Bay on Hayman Island where you can go ashore for a walk or to the
beach. Cruise through breathtaking Nara Inlet to see the aboriginal rock art then to
Cid Harbor for our overnight anchorage.
Day 5 - Return to Hamilton Island Beach Club, 2 nights
After breakfast on board, hike to the lookout at Cid
Harbor then cruise via the
Molle group of islands before disembarking at Hamilton Island in the late morning.
Transfer to the Beach Club for your 2 night stay.
Day 6 - - Whitsunday Island, Hamilton Island
With a year round average temperature of 27.5C (82F), Hamilton Island is a resort that
offers balmy weather and something for everyone!
Spend today combining the absolute luxury of the Beach Club with all the natural beauty and activities
Hamilton Island is famous for - sailing, game fishing, snorkeling, water skiing, windsurfing or scuba
diving. Play tennis, race go-karts or hit a ball at the golf driving range. Perhaps a guided nature walk
is more your pace and from mid July to September whale watching may appeal.
Of course there is plenty of time for just lazing by the Beach Club’s pool, or you may visit one of
five other pools on the island. There are 20 boutiques & shops to browse and ten restaurants, numerous
bars and idyllic coral fringed beaches to be tried. Importantly, The Beach Club’s infinity edge
swimming pool and lounge are exclusively for Beach Club guests.
Day 7 - Departure
You will be transferred to the Airport for your onward flight.
