JOURNEY BRIEF |
|
Day 1 : Fly to Kangaroo Island,
overnight at Stranraer Homestead, dinner
and evening wildlife viewing.
Day
2 : Full day private guided touring
of the island with gourmet picnic lunch.
Day 3 : Fly to Adelaide, collect
hire car and drive through the Barossa
Valley to Portee Station on the Murray
River plains, dinner and overnight.
Day
4 : Full day escorted touring
at Portee.

Day 5 : Drive to the Clare Valley
for 2 nights at Thorn park.
Day
6 : Full day free to explore the
Valley and enjoy some of Australia’s premium
wines.
Day 7 to 9 : Spend
3 nights at the Prairie Hotel (or Arkaba
Station) and from here explore the Flinders
Ranges National Park, Nilpena Station,
Wilpena Pound and enjoy a beer at the
pub with the locals.
Day 10 : Overnight at North Bundaleer,
an elegant country home, and enjoy a fine
meal with new friends.
Day 11 : Return the car to Adelaide.

Island & in the wine areas. In the Outback
mornings & evenings will be cold while the days
will be sunny and warm. |

Kangaroo Island is lovely in the
summer; the wine country will be hot & dry. Whilst
nights will be cool in the outback daytime
temperatures average almost 40 Celsius. |

The Spring and Autumn months are
ideal. |
