JOURNEY BRIEF |

Day
1 : Your journey begins in Darwin
where you are bound to enjoy a delicious
seafood dinner hosted by an expert on
the marine environment at Indo Pacific
Marine.
Day 2 : A charter flight to
Arnhem Land brings you to land brings
to Max Davidsons Camp. Originally a buffalo
hunter in the area, Max knows the people
and this pristine wilderness intimately.
Day
3 & 4 : Explore the rock art
that portrays 50,000 years of history; the
escarpment and floodplains alive with wildlife;
fish for barramundi in the billabong and take
guided walks in the catacombs or
paperbarks.

Day
5 : Fly from Davidsons Camp to Bullo River
and meet your hosts, Franz & Marlee Ranacher,
to learn about life on this remote cattle property.
Day
6 & 7 : The mood is very relaxed and the
choice is yours; experience the operations of a genuine
working cattle station; explore the Bullo River, fish
for barramundi, look for crocodiles and see discover
hidden gorges that reflect deep red colours and reveal
Aboriginal rock paintings.

8 : A flight to Darwin for overnight.
Day
9 : An early start to for the
flights and cruise to Bloomfield Lodge
in the Daintree Rainforest. Arrive in
time for lunch & spend the afternoon
getting to know the lodge and its beautiful
surrounds.
Day
10 & 11 : Enjoy the tranquillity of the lodge and get out to explore
the mangroves and rainforest, take guided
rainforest walks or charter a yacht to
the Great Barrier Reef for snorkelling,
fishing and beach combing.

winter months from June to September this is also
the best time to see birds & crocodiles, as the
billabong water levels are low. |

humid; the fishing is better at this time. |
