JOURNEY BRIEF |
|
Day 1 : On arrival in Alice
Springs, your host will meet you and transfer you to
Ooraminna Cattle Station.
Day 2 : Learn about life on a million acre
cattle property, enjoy the sheer size & stunning
beauty of the Outback.
Day 3 : Fly to Uluru / Ayers Rock for a 2 night
stay at Desert Gardens, or up-grade to the luxury of
Longitude 131. Evening sundowner tour of Kata Tjuta.
Day 4 : Early start to visit Ayers Rock /
Uluru, afternoon free for your choice of
additional
touring.

Day 5 : Morning flight to
Cairns for 2 nights at Tryconnell Mine, evening settle
into life in the northern bush, enjoy a sundowner &
home cooked meal with your hosts.
Day 6 : Your host will explain to you the
history of this region, take a bush picnic lunch or
relax around this unique property.
Day 7 to 9 : You will be returned to Cairns
Airport for the flight to Dunk Island where you will
spend 3 nights being as lazy or as active as you wish.
For a “finish with a flourish” you may care to stay at
Lizard.
Day
10 : Transfer by air to Cairns Airport
in time for your onward flight.

Desert Centre and on the Reef. |

Summer will be very hot in the
Desert Centre and hot and humid on the Barrier
Reef. Swimming on the Reef is not recommended as
there are stinging jelly fish. |

The Spring and the Autumn months
can be warm but pleasant. |
