JOURNEY BRIEF |
|
Day
1
: Depart Perth, it is 3 to 4 hour
drive to the wine country that surrounds
the friendly town of Margaret River. Stay
2 nights in a luxury wilderness cabin
at Hidden Valley Retreat
Day 2 : Not far from Margaret River is the
spectacular coast of the Cape Leeuwin National Park
a great place for surfing, beach combing and picnics.
Visit the wineries and the regions small towns.
Day 3 : Return your
rental car to Perth for one of the scheduled
flights to Broome where you will stay at
McAlpine House - built in 1910 in the
traditional and unique architectural style of
Broome, the House is now a charming boutique
hotel.

Day
4 : A day in Broome - unique and exotic seaside town with
a romantic and often flamboyant history that has resulted in an
unusual Colonial / Asia atmosphere.
Day 5 : Fly to a remote bush
camp on the rugged Kimberley Coast your stay is in
comfortable bush-style cabins with fabulous ocean views.

Day
6, 7 & 8 : Cruise along the Kimberley coast,
fish, swim in a rock pool, visit the King George River where
the Falls cascade over a one hundred foot cliff.
Day 9 : By charter aircraft travel across
the vast Kimberley region to Bullo River Station where your hosts,
Franz & Marlee Ranacher, meet you.
Day 10 & 11 : The mood is very relaxed and the choice is
yours; experience the operations of a genuine working cattle station;
explore the Bullo River, fish for barramundi, look for crocodiles and
see discover hidden gorges that reflect deep red colours and reveal
Aboriginal rock paintings.
Day 12 : A flight takes you to Kununurra
(From here there are scheduled flights to Darwin
and Perth)
