INTRODUCTION |

Having children, doesn’t stop everybody from
traveling. It is however, wise to ensure that a
family holiday takes into account the interests and
requirements of younger travelers. They need a pool
they can splash about in, not a place they can lie
and read a book. They need to get in amongst it all
and not just enjoy the view. Australia is the ideal
place in which to enjoy some family orientated
adventure, fresh air, wilderness & with loads of
variety.
As a rule we have found it best to tailor make a
family holiday – perhaps combining some time in the
wine country, some time on the beach and the thrill
of an outback cattle station for example. If you

On to Uluru & Kata Tjuta for
bush walks and aboriginal culture before flying
to the tropical north where your first stop
is Tyrconnell, an historic gold mine
(spend some time panning – you never know
your luck!) before ending on a tropical island
paradise. At Dunk Island the kids can
snorkel, swim and hang out in the Kids Club
while Mum & Dad take time out to enjoy some
poolside recreation!

gardens, fishing, sailing, bush walking, sleeping in a swag
under a sky filled with stars, mustering sheep, learning to
ride a motorbike, experiencing aboriginal culture, swimming
