Decorated with artifacts and antiques collected from Indonesia
and tropical Australia, the Homestead is an ideal place to let
the massive beauty of the untamed Kimberley take effect.
Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, the Homestead has a
freeform swimming pool, spa, and a tennis court.
A friendly staff provides the highest standards of service and
cuisine and you may choose to dine on a private cliff top, on
the Homestead's verandahs or with other guests in the spacious
dining room.
El
Questro guides will tailor your activities to suit
your interests. Take a cruise down the Chamberlain
Gorge, to view some fine examples of Aboriginal Wandjina
rock art. Horse treks are a fabulous way to sneak
up on Kimberley wildlife including brumbies, wild
donkeys, bustards, frilled neck lizards, goannas,
brolgas, jabirus, techni-coloured parrots and saltwater
crocodiles. El Questro maintains a herd of 5,000 cattle
and they are often seen grazing on the saltpans.
After a morning in the saddle or on
foot you may elect to relax in the soothing thermal
waters of Zebedee Springs. An El Questro highlight is a
scenic helicopter flight through canyons and gorges,
past waterfalls, caves and galloping
brumbies.
