An
hour north of Byron Bay, Crystal Creek is located
in a secluded valley surrounded by World Heritage
listed rainforest national parks. The spectacular
natural environment has been carefully incorporated
into the architect-designed bungalows ensuring
total privacy and maximum visual access to the
forest.
Featuring plantation and native timbers, each open plan
bungalow offers spacious living areas inside and out. Glass
walled bathrooms, where only the birds and echidnas can peer
in, with a spa bath large enough to share, are the ideal spot
to refresh after a
vigorous forest walk.

Creek side Spa Bungalows accommodate 4 guests in two bedrooms,
one with en-suite bathroom and a double spa overlooking the
rainforest and a separate bathroom for the second bedroom.
There is a fully equipped kitchen and glass screen doors off
the living area open onto a long verandah.
Rainforest Canopy Bungalows accommodate a romantic couple, in
split-level comfort. The living opens onto a verandah and a
large separate kitchen. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and
sunken spa bath overlooking rainforest.
Another
romantic option is the Glass Terrace Bungalows
with spacious open plan areas almost totally enclosed
in glass. Sliding glass doors open onto a large
covered verandah and there is a galley style kitchen,
double spa bath and walk-in shower with rainforest
vista.
If you prefer not to cook Crystal Creek offers a menu of the
finest local produce and whenever possible meals include fruit
and vegetables from the Creeks own organic garden and
free-range eggs. The menu changes daily depending on the
availability of fresh seasonal produce, the weather and the
creative mood of the chef. A wonderful dining experience is a
candlelit dinner served in the intimacy of your own bungalow.
The retreat is an eco tourist's delight where you can stroll
under giant strangler figs, along fern lined gorges or simply
lay in a hammock over a crystal pool and watch the wompoo
pigeons in the treetops. Join a dawn bird watch for a glimpse
of a noisy pitta or logrunner or maybe plant a rainforest tree
in the arboretum as an everlasting memento of your visit and
your contribution to nature conservation.
