 Dunk
Island is one of Australia's most beautiful tropical
rainforest islands and offers both peace and an amazing
variety of activities, facilities and experiences.
The four categories of room all feature en suite bathroom, air
conditioning, ceiling fan and a balcony or patio. Each is well
equipped, right down to the umbrellas, iron & ironing board.
Some nestle in foliage so that you wake to the sounds of
tropical forest, others are shaded by palm trees and open to
the beach so that you wake to the sound of the ocean. Family

Dunk has a variety of restaurants designed to match your mood.
There is quality a la carte dining, a sidewalk style café and
a casual eatery with views across the palm-fringed beach to
distant islands. At the Plantation Bar enjoy a quiet drink.
 As
for activities you may choose to start the day with
a rainforest walk to the island’s summit. Tour the
island on a jet ski and stop off for a snorkel over
the bommies at Naturalist Beach. You may try fishing,
water skiing, horse riding on the beach, play tennis
or squash, parasail or take a boat excursion out to
the Reef. For romance, take one of the dinghies and
make the short trip to a picturesque island for a
gourmet beach picnic.
Dunk is great for families as the Kids Club has its own meal
times and activities supervised by Dunk’s professional team.
While the kids enjoy a range of activities such as treasure
hunts, nature arts and crafts, rainforest discovery walks,
turtle spotting, and evening disco parties & movies - mum and
dad can enjoy being just two again!
