INTRODUCTION |

Wilderness Australia is a small privately owned
Travel Company, based in Sydney and specializing in
tailor made safaris around Australia.
Our Australian Portfolio,
presented in this website, comprises a selection of
safaris & journeys in Australia, that over the years
have proven to be our most popular and also our
personal favorites.
Our passion lies in bringing
together the very best of Australia’s natural and
cultural heritage, with a collection of outback
properties, private bush camps and small lodges
located around the country. Many of these properties
are “off the beaten track”, in spectacularly remote
and inspirational locations, where you are hosted
and guided by locals who have a unique passion for
and knowledge of their area.
We realize
that the more adventurous bush experiences need
to be supplemented by the more “luxurious” and
family friendly resorts, particularly on the
coast and Great Barrier Reef. In our Australian
Portfolio we have included a number of these
properties that we feel respectively tailor to
the needs of individuals and families looking
for an up market though family oriented
experience.

We are a small company that provides quality services
and personal assistance to our clients. We are Australian
based and recommend only those places that we have
experienced first hand.
We don’t offer mainstream tourism – we offer you
the chance to experience Australia’s diverse environment.
The accommodation is not designed to conform to a checklist
of 5 star standards, but is innovative and locally
inspired, and hosted with a truly Australian sense
of humor. The guides we use are often conservationists
in their own right, always local, and share their
expertise and passion for Australia’s natural and
cultural heritage.

Vicki Leboutillier
Vicki manages our Reservations team and is your point of
contact with the company. Vicki will co-ordinate your
Australian Portfolio reservations and as the unofficial office
“info-manager” she will be able to answer your every question
and arrange your special requirements. Vicki’s attention to
detail ensures that your Australian Portfolio experience is
memorable – for all the right reasons!
Amanda Fisher
Like Vicki, Amanda’s background is in luxury travel throughout
Africa, India and Australia. Managing our Perth office,
Amanda’s role in Australian Portfolio is product management,
development & promotion.
Charles Carlow
Born and brought up in Australia,
and with a Geography degree behind him, Charles has over
15 years experience in the travel industry in Australia,
Africa and Asia in various management positions with
Cathay Pacific Airways. As the founder of Wilderness
Australia, one of his key responsibilities is quality
control both in the office and out in the field.
